The CUMEDIAE aisbl team played an important role in co-organising the Hackathon held online on November 29th, 2021 in the context of the project Measuring the Cultural and Creative Sectors in the EU, in which CUMEDIAE representatives Ignasi Guardans and Stefanie Thomas actively took part in the discussion.
The event was possible thanks to the collaboration of our partners Qmetrics, Gerador, NTT DATA and FundaciĆ³n Alternativas, collaborators and participants.
The team is now pleased to share with you the main contributions that originated from the event.

The Hackathon provided means for Measuring CCS researchers and collaborators to have an open consultative space in their efforts to stimulate inspiration, ideation, integration, and in addressing emerging gaps in current cultural sector measurement methodology. The final document presents the key stakeholders from the cultural and creative sectors who contributed as project participants; it highlights the rationale for the event and explains the distribution of challenges, groups, and participants. In addition, it presents a summary of the main discussion points from the sessions. CUMEDIAE aisbl continues to work closely with project researchers, which provide the cross-fertilization of research, projects, and initiatives needed to understand current gaps.

You can view these results in this easy-to-read magazine. Find more information about the participants on page 23 of the magazine.

CUMEDIAE would also like to express its gratitude to all the colleagues who actively participated in the project, the internal team, and all the facilitators and participants for their great engagement.
