The past 12th of June, Culture Action Europe held its Annual General Assembly (AGA) and Members’ Meeting. CUMEDIAE, as a proud member of its network, joined the event that this year was celebrated virtually. As always, the meeting was an invaluable opportunity to share collective knowledge and expertise with other members of the network.

This programme focused on the statutory updates on CAE activities and finances, elections of a member to the CAE Executive Committee and participatory sessions to imagine the future of the CAE network as well as discussing joint advocacy actions.

CUMEDIAE is glad to participate in this annual event organised by the major European network of cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists, academics and policymakers. CAE is the first port of call for informed opinion and debate about arts and cultural policy in the EU, and we strongly resonate with their mission to advocate for arts and culture as a fundamental building block of the common future of Europe and beyond.

We congratulate them on the extraordinary work done in their advocacy activities as well as in championing the rights of our beloved creative and cultural sector, and we renew our support to their efforts and actions.

If you share our values and want to make your part, don’t forget to join CAE’s latest campaign! The EU funds for the sector need to increase and reach cultural operators: let’s put culture at the center and support #Double4Culture.
