The Open House of the MANIFEST: New artistic perspectives on memories of the transatlantic trade of enslaved people” project was a success!

CUMEDIAE co-hosted the MANIFEST Open House Event on 26 October 2022. The MANIFEST project aims to contribute to and enhance the re-imagination of Europe’s collective memory of the transatlantic trade of enslaved people. The event occurred on Zoom and through a Livestream on Facebook. The online event enabled inspired artists and individuals to have a glimpse of the project’s core mission and learn more about the MANIFEST Open Call for artists.

CUMEDIAE’s Head of strategy and projects, Stefanie Thomas, moderated the event, which had interventions by colleagues from the MANIFEST advisory board and consortium. Moreover, the CUMEDIAE team was in charge of broadcasting the event on the MANIFEST Facebook page. Gain insights into behind-the-scenes below!

During the event, The MANIFEST Consortium officially opened the Applications for the Open Call for Artists and is accepting applications until 27 November 2022.
